This module is designed in a way that helps to prepare the students for in depth understanding of “Computer System” along with security. The central objective of this module is to develop the students understanding for both Hardware and Software and their interaction. The module is categorized in a way that in the start students will be learning about the various hardware components of the computer. Then the students will be given opportunities to learn and practice how to assemble / dismantle a computer system. Secondly the students will be given training for the installation and configuration of system and application software on a computer system. Finally, the students will be encouraged to develop the understanding of security of a computer system in standalone and in a network environment. The students who will complete this module after passing all the components like quizzes, assignments and/or projects, labs and final exams will become eligible to continue for the next module.

The main goal of this module is to develop the students understanding about major Network Concepts and devices. The module is categorized in a way that in the start students will be learning about the Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Open System Interconnect (OSI) Networking models along with fundamentals of Local Area Network (LAN). Secondly the students will be educated for the roles of network server and their functions. Finally, the students will be encouraged to learn the network mathematics (conversions) and IP address schemes along with sub-netting. The students who will complete this module after passing all the components like quizzes, assignments and/or projects, labs and final exams will become eligible to continue for the next module.
This module is designed in a way that helps to prepare the students for extensive understanding of Network Protocols, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and Wide Area Network (WAN). The central objective of this module is to develop the students understanding for layer 2 and 3 communication protocols. The module is categorized in a way that in the start students will be learning about the layer 2 and 3 – network connectivity, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP). Then the students will be given opportunities to learn and practice IP addressing and sub-netting. Later the students will be getting hands on practice for internet settings and configuration. Finally, the students will be able to grasp the concept of WAN network and technology along with Network Address Translation (NAT) & Port Address Translation (PAT). The students who will complete this module after passing all the components like quizzes, assignments and/or projects, labs and final exams will become eligible to continue for the next module.

Then the students will learn about Layer 3 protocols configuration. Later the students will be trained for Wireless Network Communication concepts. Finally, the students will be able to grasp the concept of IPv6 address scheme, its format and other relevant details.
